Ambient temps depends on the ambient temp of your room at 76/78 there is nothing to worry about.
I am not crazy about sticking anything to an enclosure simply because once you do it makes cleaning a lot more difficult, the advantage of a tub you take it clean it in the sink in and out and put it back in service, if you stick something to it obviously you can't do that.
