Manage temperature in my snake room.

I was managing temperature with heating tapes but my collection will be soon too big for my home to provide the power charge so i should change for general temperature.
Is any of you working without heating tapes and managing temperature variations for the all room??

I heard 29 celsius the day, 27 celsius the night for winter and 30 celsius day and night during summer period. Is that reliable?

I still run a "hot spot" but I have an oil filled heater that keeps my room between 78 to 82 degrees.

there is no "cooling season" needed and more accurate would be keeping your room between 85 to 88 degrees.

I keep all temps the same even when I am pairing and breeding.

Could you elaborate more on what answer you are expecting?

How big of a collection to not be able to use heat tape?

And a few Custom melamin racks, I see so way you wouldn't be able to provide with heat tape?

^^I do the same as this. As far as "maintaining" the proper temps set your space heater to where your room is at desired temps, or you could plug the heater into a good thermostat that can handle that high wattage. Pit doesn't use a cool down period for his animals but many breeders do. What i do is keep my ambient temp 83F degrees around the clock with a hot spot of 90. When i cool down for breeding i cool my ambient to about 81F degrees during day and drop it to 77-78F degrees at night. I also set the hot spot to 88 during the day and 83-84 during the night. Hope this helps
