Thanks, I had the same idea and went with two smaller UTH's, one on each side of the brace. I just hope having one temp probe between the two will be ok. I picked up a Vivarium VE 100 but it only has one probe. I plugged a small power strip into the VE100 and both UTH's into it so in theory it should keep both sides about the same. I've been monitoring the temps and it seems to be working. One quick question though, I'm using aspen snake bedding and was curious how thick of a layer do you put over the hot spot? I've also read that you should put a thin carpet under the the aspen bedding to prevent the snake from pushing aside the bedding and laying directly on the glass. What is recommended to do here?
