What is this... Rescue
A lady brought this to me yesterday asking if I would take it because she didn't know what to do with it. She said it will not eat and didnt want it anymore. She said she bought it as an albino burmese... It is super thin and im going to try to nurse it back to health. Is this an albino burmese? It is so thin I almost thought it was a retic? I have bred ball pythons for several years but have no experience with burms or retics.

Definitely a Burmese. And incredibly underfed and malnourished. Poor thing.
You are going to have your work cut out for you with that one. If you have any questions or any issues come up. Don't hesitate to come back here

yep, this is a very malnourished Albino Burmese Python. Make sure you have all your own permits (If needed) to possess this snake, and remember that they are not allowed across state lines!

There's a high possibility you've heard this already, and hopefully you hear it again in the future, but a word of advice on fattening him up: DO NOT attempt to feed what you feel he 'should' be eating at this point in his life. Feeding too large a prey item to this poor, thin, sickly thing would wreak havoc on his body. Start small, even smaller than you think and make sure he can keep it down without a regurge (which would set him back even further). Try not to interact with him aside from feeding and replacing water for the time being until his physique improves, and best of luck to you.

One hundred and 50 percent agreed! I would start small and slow let him put his weight on naturally, trying to "power" feed an animal in this condition could do horrible things, I would let him take his time and grow at his pace and then he'll turn in to a happy snake  . Good luck bud it's going to be a long journey but the reward at the end of that road to get him back to health and see him grow will be so rewarding! Good luck!

Also, please post pictures as he progresses! I'd love to see what happens as you feed him and he puts some healthy weight back on!
