Kind of. A male BP is certainly capable of reaching the same proportions as any female however the distribution of weight heavily sides with females, they tend to get larger a bit faster and stay larger. Of course things like feeding habits and fasting will ultimately impact size though.
Most of our males stay around 600-1500 grams. Females are naturally going to grow larger because they are the ones that have to carry the eggs. Our biggest female is 5 foot long and weighed 3200 grams and layed 10 eggs for us. I have heard of females reaching 6.5 feet and close to 10,000 grams but have never seen one. Largest female i have seen was 6 feet and 6000 grams which is about a 13 pound ball python!
