    Divided T8 temperature difference?

I set up my T8 with the flexwatt belly heat since our room is warm enough without the RHP at this time. My problem now is my temperature probes are reading 87 one one side and 93.2 on the other side. It is 93.2 on the side that hooks up to the plug. What did I do wrong......I thought it should be the same the entire length of flexwatt. Should I tape it better or any other suggestions? Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I did double check temps with the temp gun as well and they are spot on.

Just checked the flexwatt again. I installed it on the 10th and found it not taped to enclosure yesterday(hanging off) before hooking up to tstat and I reapplied it....added more tape and just now found it hanging off again. Why isnt the foil tape holding it in place? Any suggestions?

Well place a second layer (to double the coverage) Because the Heal does make the glue more slippery and loose so itll peel off!... Taping to say add 2" of tape off the pad, then place a second piece over that Tape to make 4" (That way its not so effected by the heat as its not on heat tape) But offers more tape coverage!!

I never had the issue bcz it was laid on a desk for me, But if its floating a little just add more tape.

Added more tape to everything and now my temp difference is only 1 or 2 degrees.....very happy with my purchases. Just got a second LED light set the company sent me by mistake and I get to keep it. My RHP Come tomorrow but probably wont install until it starts getting cooler.

Well you midswell install it anyways!!! So you can get use to it aswell and the needs. Summer is much more humid, But come winter if it does dry out in winter the more dry season youll know!!!

Plus im sure your snake will like the warm toasty heat wave it provides!!!
