second issue: the BP might swallow the blanket. not intentionally, but accidents happen.
when they get something like a rat or a piece of fabric into their mouth deep enough, there is a point of no return because of the teeth pointing backwards. they cannot spit it out again because its stuck to the teeth, and are left with the options to do nothing or to continue swallowing.
with paper towels, newspaper or sphagnum moss its no big deal because they can tear the paper and its no problem when they eat some paper or sphagnum moss.
