Water bowls
I was wondering what bowls and sizes do people use for their bp's?

Re: Water bowls
I have 2. Yea, it's probably an overkill, but one small one on the cool side and one large enough for my snake to soak in on the warm side. It helps with humidity as well as drinking and soaking. No, my snake rarely gets in it, but it's there if she decides to. Most folks with multiple snake don't do this, but it's not too much trouble with a small collection. I tend to go to extremes with mine.

many people use the ones that are intended as water and food bowls for dogs and cats. they are cheap, big, easy to clean, and dont tip over easily. you can get them in stainless steel or plastic or stoneware, most are durable enough for the dishwashing machine.
some people also use these thin plastic deli-cups and throw them away after use. im no fan of that because of the plastic waste it generates. i would rather get a few that are basically indestructible and that can go in the dishwasher.
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it. If you disagree, send me a PM.
The 4 philosophically most important aspects of modern science are: Evolutionary theory, Cosmology, Quantum mechanics, and Einsteins theory of general relativity. Understand these to get a grip of reality.
my favorite music video is online again, its really nice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oABEGc8Dus0

Yeah, I use big, shallow, stainless steel dog bowls. They're really cheap, easy to clean, and the snakes can climb in and soak if they want to - or need to because, oh, a cat got into the room with the snakes and pulled the t-stat probe out and onto the floor. I love my cats, really. I'm glad the snakes had bowls big enough to climb into though. Also glad no one got burned.

Ok cool I will have to go to a petstore and check out some bowls to get. I have been currently using a retired cereal bowl thats been doing great but its now getting small for my bp.

Re: Water bowls
I use plastic pet bowls from the dollar store. Easy to clean, don't tip, and they only cost a buck.

When i didnt have ARS rack I used the 4' Cupplings and the Deli cups.. No i didnt throw them away, But simple run them through hot water to clean them, and fill. Only throwing away if it did have pee/poo Or a dead rat that they let sit in it while swallowing.
