    I'd recommend not using the stick on hydrometer/thermometer. They are very inaccurate so your probably getting some readings that are off. I'd recommend getting an accurite thermometer/hygrometer. It measures temps on the warm/cool side and has a built in humidity gauge. I think they are only about $5-$7. They work great also are you regulating your heat source with a thermostat. You definitely need one of those to keep your little one from getting burned. It will also help you keep temps consistent.
