I did a test the other day.I put a f/t small rat,heated by the heat lamp for a few minutes,and Charles refused to eat. The next day he ate two live mice without hesitation.It seems he will only eat live.Now, what do I do. I'm not willing to make him go hungry just to make him eat f/t rats eventually. The pet store only had one very large rat so I got two mice. I hope to try live small rats if I can get them. I've had several boas and Burmese pythons in the past and they ate f/t rats fine.This Ball is picky apparently. He's seems to be a happy camper now.I will still try f/t rats every several weeks but will feed live if he refuses them. Any thoughts?
