My brooks is still quite young, I think he will be a year old in August. I work a 48 shift for the FD, so I try to interact with him as much as I can because when I don't hold him for a few days he at first acts flighty and will rattle his tail. He does calm down almost instantly after I pick him up. He seems so far to be somewhat curious but will not pass up the opportunity to hide but i think that maybe due to him being still young.
As for the ball that i have, she is just over 1000g and I have had her about 2 years now. She can be alittle shy sometimes but she acts like a normal bp i guess. She does go off feed from usually Oct. To March. This year though her feeding repsonse has really picked up. I feed her yesteray and she met me at the door when she saw that i had the rat. I thought she was about to tear the sliding door open to get the rat. Lol
The brooks was fed his first fuzzy yesterday as well. At fiest i thought the fuzzy was too big for him. He rapped around it, and started looking for it, bit himself, then finally found it and ate it. He then had his look of " i want more" that he does even though he had a nice size lump in his belly lol.
They both are cool but it is nice to have the more active king. I think when he gets older, he will not hide so mush in his enclosure as he does now.
As for more snakes, i have a short list of what i think i could handle based on my work schedule, interacting with them and taking care of all of them. We held a red tail boa at the pet store the other day and my wife thought she was cool on how she acted and how smooth she felt. She did not like the fact of how big a red tail can get. I hope to get maybe a corn or even a dumeril boa next if i can.
Sorry for the long post lol
