The lite version to try it out has limited features and animals (do not recall how many) however getting the lite version is a great way to taste it and see if you like it.

I'll definitely have to try it, though I do hate dealing with those qr scan things.

You you only need to set up a single reptilescan account and have multiple access it. the guys running it have been VERY good an making changes my suggestion of adding records from the iphone with out the scan was adopted (I am sure many said the same) and they keep adding more options based of feedback. You can turn on and off menu items as needed My phone has no listing for feeding live as I choose not to. If you only had royals you could turn the feeding bugs and veg off. It is well thought out and they are reptile keepers (and make the best looking racks ever! EPIC!) but is really well suited.

I have a very small collection compared to others, iPhone AppStore has an app called SnakeKeeper. It works good and the data can be exported to Excel if you need.

I got it, started setting it up, love it! I can't wait to print out those scanny things and throw them on the tubs. It will be so nice to keep track of everything, and I love the sale cards that can be made!

Its not even limited to animals, but its limited to amount of uploads. which is 50! So if you entered in 50 "things" for 1 snake you'd be finished.
Shed
Eating
Defication
things like that. 50 scans go by REALLLY fast, specially when your learning the program you'll do about 20!! lol

I use HerperPro. Only downside I can see is that you can't link it to multiple PCs. They have a qr scanner app, too, if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Snake template?
I use Reptilescan and it's nice and organized. Scanning hasn't been an issue and you can always do things on the go with the app for the phone as well. It gets my vote.

Re: Snake template?
I use iherp.com. It's not bad and it tracks everything that I need for 5 snakes.
The only crappy part about it is that they don't have an app for the phone so you have to use the site. Otherwise it's a great way to log information.
