Paper towels as substrate in glass tank?

Is this a bad idea? Will I be unable to achieve ideal humidity temps?

Currently my bp is in a 40gal glass tank with coconut husk. I was thinking about switching to paper towels because it'd be much easier to clean etc.

You can try it and if you can maintain accurate numbers then it's all good.

You might line the bottom with paper towels but have a bowl of sphangum moss with an aerated lid to help with humidity. Place it close to the heat source.for higher humidity...
