I'm about to purchase a Pastel Clown female for $1600 and the seller is going to throw in a male Pastel Het. Clown picture is of female , I don't have a pic of the male Opinions on the price of this package deal?? ... Also wondering if I entered everything into the calculator correctly , thanks

How good of a value that is depends almost entirely on how big that female is, which is information you haven't given us. The info from WOBP is correct.

try if the seller can give you a lower deal if you get a male pastel clown and female pastel het clown instead. the pairing will give you the same odds, but is lower in market value....just sayin'
    1.0 pied
    0.1 spider het pied
    0.1 normal het pied
    1.0 pinstripe het albino
    0.1 albino
    0.3 normal het albino
    1.2 cinnamon
    0.1 lesser
    0.1 bumblebee
    0.1 pastel
    0.2 normal

He actually ran that senario past me himself however this is all he has as far as pastel clown at the time being ....

Another question just to be sure .. with the pairing I have above with the entire clutch be 100% het pastel clown ??

Yes they will all be 100% het clown but they will not all be pastels. You can produce normal, pastels and super pastels 100% het clowns as well in that pairing.

one of the BPs is a visual clown, so everything will be at least 100% het clown. if the sire is 100% het clown, half of the clutch will be visual clowns, and the other half will be 100% het clown.

there is no such thing as a het pastel, so someting like a "100% het pastel clown" also doesnt exist. the correct way to say it is to move anything that has to do with the recessive to the end, so you get "pastel 100% het clown".

then, on top of the BPs being clown or het clown, you also get pastels and super pastels and "normals", as in, BPs that did not get pastel but still have clown or het clown.

the pairing is fine, with a visual female you can be sure that everything is 100% het clown, even if there is a problem with retained sperm from a different male or something. and you can replace the male as soon as you hatch out a male visual clown, ideally with pastel or super pastel. if you beat the odds and hatch out the right holdback male and do the transition, then this could be a really good start and the visual female may be worth the additional cost. just dont pay too much for the male, as he will make himself obsolete really quickly.
