Living In A Hot Climate... How To Regulate Tank Temps?
Hey all,
quick question. last summer i moved to an area of the country where summer temps are routinely over 100+ degrees and it is a very, very dry heat. my 2 year old BP George had no issues last summer with eating but for the past two months once temps got warm again has not taken his food once... he will sniff it, but quickly lose interest.
Any tips on what i can do to remedy this situation?
Thanks!

What are the temperatures you keep him at? There are a bunch of us on here that live in the desert that can help answer any questions you might have.

wow completely forgot- his hot side is at about 98* cool side is whatever the temp in my apt is which can get a bit warm since I do not run the AC unless I absolutely have to...

98 is too warm (over 95 is not good). While it won't burn them at this temperature, it will lead to other health problems.
What are you using to get temps up that high right now? Are you using anything to regulate your heating device?

More importantly, you should turn that ac on to keep him alive and healthy. It's irresponsible pet ownership not to.
