    Help needed

Basically we had a ball Python come out of the egg detached from the yolk which was still in the egg and the baby only weighs 21g. When should I attempt to feed him/her? What's the best chance of survival without the yolk?
I threw the yolk away as it didn't look good and was quite solid
    Thanks

I've seen smaller babies than that. Just start with a fuzzy mouse.

HATCH ---> ~ 1 week later snake will shed ----> You may feed any time after the snake has shed

Should I not try feeding before to get some food in it being really small?

Usually with exception like those, yolk not being absorbed for whatever reason I give the animal 48 hours (to see if it is gonna make it to start with), this mean alone in it's own tub with moist paper towel, then I offer food that is the appropriate size.

I do not wait for them to shed I just go an do it within the first few days, some times even that small and with such a start they will eat on their own (depending on how weak or not they are) and in a lot of cases they will need to be assisted a few times.
