    Burm questions

So Gary my burmese ate his 5 lb rabbit yesterday just great, I think 5lbs was maybe a little much. Anyways looks like he is going into shed, eyes were pretty blue today. With misting I can generally stay within the 50-60% humidity range, but was thinking about adding a humidity box with some moss for him. Do I keep this on the warmer side or cooler end, or does it not really matter? Also roughly how long does a shed cycle last? I think i'm gonna push out his next meal 12-14 days, so was wondering how long the shed cycle lasts. Do I even bother trying to feed him if he is in shed or just wait until he has completed his shed?

My Burm usually takes about a week to go through the cycle, maybe a little longer. I would tend to keep the humid box towards the warm side, if it is too cool on your cool side, the damp box could be too cold for your snake. Offer the next meal after the shed is complete, although some of mine will eat when in blue, but I'm pretty sure your snake will survive if he doesn't eat for a two to three weeks.

Rabbit seemed alot smaller. Apparently he has had much bigger meals before and been just fine.
