    Delilah's first clutch!

    Delilah was my very first snake (got her over 5 years ago), but just gave me her first clutch today! She's always been on the small side, due to her refusal to eat anything but live mice, so she barely even "made weight" at 5+ years old... she was right around 1500g before breeding season, and weighed a mere 1100-something after laying. She doesn't look too thin, though, as she's more small-framed than skinny.

    Anyway, this appears to be my ONLY clutch for the season, and unfortunately it's nothing too fancy - she's a normal, and dad is a black pastel. Still exciting, of course, and all 7 eggs look terrific. I'm actually surprised she gave me such a big clutch, considering her small size! I also caught the laying process, and snapped a few pics before she hissed a "go away" warning.
