    Slowcountry Balls 2013=2014 Season

Just wanted to post some pictures of the some of the clutches we have in our incubator. Our first clutch already hatched and I hope to put some pictures up soon.

Female Congo x Male Fire, 5 good eggs. This pairing produced the first Congo Fire last year

Female Lesser Bee x Male Spotnose, 5 good eggs

Female Mojave x Male Orangebelly, this is the Orangebelly on World of Ball Pythons (http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/orange-belly/) and sired a Graphite Ivory for me last year (you can see his picture here: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-New-Light-Kit). He is a rather unusual Orangebelly and I plan on doing a thread on him and some of his offspring later.

Female Specter (possible) x Male Orangebelly, 5 good eggs (same male Orangebelly as the one just mentioned, he is the only Orangebelly male I have used so far)

Female Mojave het Hypo x Male Pastel Hypo possible het Pied, 5 good eggs (this male has been the one used in my Hypo Pied project, out of the last 2 season, he has sired 7 eggs with my female Pied het Hypo, but no visual Pieds so far. If he doesn't produce a visual Pied this year, he will be replaced by his Pastel Hypo het Pied son from last season). This pairing produced my Hypo Pastave that I held back last year.

Female Pastel Enchi x Male Mystic, 9 good eggs and it is her first season laying at that!

Female Pastel x Male Pastel Calico, 8 good eggs

Female Spider het Hypo x Male Pastel Hypo possible het Pied, 2 good eggs, 1 partially formed egg, the partially formed egg seems to be going bad, but still has veins, so I won't get rid of it until the veins are gone.

Female Mojave x Male Mystic, 7 good eggs

Female het Pied het Albino x Male het Pied het Albino, 11 good eggs, this is an awesome sized clutch, especially since this is her first season. I am really hoping for at least 1 Pied and 1 Albino to confirm that they are both double het. With 11 chances, I am excited, who know, I may get luck and hit the 1 in 16 Albino Pied

Thanks. I'm excited about this season. Middle of July into the beginning of August is going to be great as these clutches hatch out. I still have a couple of girls that I'm waiting on, my female Pied het Hypo, a couple of girls paired with my Orangebelly, and my female Mystic (hoping for Super Mystics).

Well, some good news, and some bad news. Another clutch to add, bringing the total up to 13 for the season so far, but lost 2 eggs from the Lesser Bee x Spotnose clutch and 1 egg from the Pastel x Pastel Calico clutch looks good but doesn't have any veins. Also, the first clutch has shed out and I have taken some pictures. I will post another thread on that clutch as I am a little unsure of the results.

    Here is the new clutch,
Butter possible het Hypo x Pastel Hypo possible het Pied, 4 good eggs

Updated picture of the Spider het Hypo x Pastel Hypo possible het Pied egg that is going bad. It still has some veins, so I am letting it incubate for now, but I think it is only a matter of time before it dies.

Here are some pictures of the dead eggs from the Lesser Bee x Spotnose, note, some of you may find the second picture graphic, since it is of both dead eggs opened up.

Just to update on some of the clutches shown here (for a lot more pictures head over to our Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/SlowcountryBalls)

From the 2008 female Mojave x 2011 male Mystic (I posted a little bit of the back story over in this thread http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...esome-Odds!!!!)

From the 2009 female Pastel x 2012 male Pastel Calico (one is still in the egg, just taking its time)

From the 2010 female Mojave het Hypo x 2009 male Pastel Hypo possible het Pied

From the 2010 female Spider het Hypo x 2009 male Pastel Hypo possible het Pied (the half good egg did go bad)

From the Lesser Spider x Spotnose (in addition to the 2 eggs that went bad, the first to pip was a Spider combo, that when we cut it open, had twins in it, but 1 twin was only half formed and the other died trying to come out of the egg, it was connected to the dead twin by the umbilical cord)
    2 Lesser Spotnose Males

From the Mojave x Orangebelly clutch (also mentioned in this thread, http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...esome-Odds!!!!)
    Female Orangebelly

    Female Orangebelly Mojave

and a comparison shot of the female Orangebelly Mojave with a Mojave
