So I'm happy to say that this season, I paired my male pied with two virgin female het pieds, and both laid nice, healthy clutches (clutch of 7 from the larger female, and a clutch of 6 from the smaller female). The first clutch has started hatching, and I'm happy to say it looks like I've got four pieds and three hets! My male is maybe a 40-50% white, but man, these two babies are much, MUCH whiter than daddy! And I have to say, Mom has more than proven herself
Just had to show off these gorgeous little fellas! Waiting to sex them until they all hatch out and settle in, then I gotta pick myself a pretty little gal to stay with me
