Please help me stop the thoughts...

I bought a lesser female from an expo from a decently-well-known breeder (around here), she has one eye, and he gave her to me for real cheap because of that. He also informed me that the pairing that produced her, was normalxpastel-lesser-spider. He was selling her as a lesser, and that's what I bought her as, I dont plan on breeding so it doesn't really matter anyway but everytime I see a pastel lesser I can't help but think she's one. Either that, or she's a rather beautiful lesser. The whites go 3/4ths up her side, her eye is light green on top, and deep greenish on bottom, completely clear belly, nice blushings, and nice head blushing. These pics are a year old, but please dont ask me to get more - she's barely grown as she much prefers to try and eat me over rats. (Maybe I should try human scenting them?) lol, anyway

It's hard to say, he's really nice that's for sure!

And very vibrant but some are just incredibly contrasted when they're young.

This is my lesser when we got him at 300 grams

One thing I've kinda noticed with lesser pastels in they usually have more fading on the top of their head, at least that's been my experience. I could be wrong though. I don't have a lot of experience hatching lessers or pastel lessers.

You have a gorgeous animal one way or the other, and I love that it only has one eye. I am a sucker for the special needs ones hahaha.

That's pretty much what I based my guess off of. He's a nice looking Lesser, but the head doesn't look faded enough for a Pastel Lesser...

Lesser is a morph that can already have a lot of yellow/gold in it, especially when they are young/little, so it isn't as obvious if it has pastel or not as some other combos. The faded head can be a big clue. Also, I'm not sure all pastel lessers have this, but at least a lot do. You can see it on Doolittle's pics. The lower sides are more yellow than white. From what I can see and also your own words, they are white on yours. So, I'm in agreement with those that think she's just a lesser.

Thanks for the input everyone - my wonderings never concluded that she would be a high grade pastel by any means, as her father was indeed a lower grade. However, her lesser sister was very brown/greyish and more muted with darker eyes, which also fueled my wonderings. I suppose the only real way to find it out would be to breed her, and I don't plan on doing that due to her deformity. So I suppose she remains a really pretty lesser!

Like I said, she'd prefer to eat me over anything else! She's the fiestiest ball python I've ever met. It's a battle to get her out of her tub, and she usually releases her bowels while being held. Quite unpleasant, but we're working on it!
