There is so much wrong with this post I don't know where to begin, or even if I can justify giving it a response. You need to do a lot more research if you are even thinking about getting a retic. I feel as if you've read maybe one thread of information, took the wrong parts of the information, then turned it into this.

If you want a mainland tic, they start out at $85 for a normal, 125 for a tiger, 400 for a super tiger. 450 sunfire tiger, 900 sunfire tiger platinum. 1250 Ivory poss tiger / super tiger. Then we have the albino complex - 350 for a standard white, 450 for a purple, 400 for a lav. Then you have new morph combos that will fetch those higher prices into the thousand+ range (Phantoms still sell for 4-5k).

So why are they so expensive? I just fed 22+ lbs of meat to feed 5 adult retics this morning. That's a weekly thing. They are expensive to get up to breeding size, and then it takes a lot of work. Not just putting them together and hoping for the best. People also paid in a lot of money to get these combos started (Motleys were 5,000 not too too long ago when the people first bought them then sold their offspring combos for 1-5k per).

this info should get you started more or less.

Retics are my passion. Just ask.
