Bumble Bee with red tint

Hello all, I have never cared for a Bumble Bee before but I rescued one about three weeks ago. He has been fine except today I noticed a red tint on top of his head and heat sensors. This doesn't look like blood so I don't think he was slamming his tub nor did it look puffy like inflaming; just a red tint. Now a few hours later, he is soaking and seems to have a red tint all over his body? I have never seen this; could it possibly be a shedding sign for this particular type of morph? Can you post any pictures? But a pinkish hue is usually a sign of a shed.

Here are the pictures, the camera doesn't show the red tint as well as in person but you should be able to see some red. Thanks again for the communities help.

Is the heat source regulated by anything? That looks like irritation to me, not like the typical "pink" of impending shed...

I agree. Doesn't look like shed. And the fact that she's soaking leads me to believe she's too hot. What are your temps, and how are they controlled?

No, absolutely no heat source. Like I said I Just got him. I also just got in a herpstat4 and flex watt which was installed today right before pictures were taken. Before the heat tape he was kept in my bathroom were the heat is a general 80-85 degrees with 80-85 humidity because there is no window. It works fine for a temporary holding area for new snakes but not permanent because we had to keep moving him around. We are happy with our new heating system and think it will work well now that it is installed correctly. Had trouble with the connectors but all good. Long story short no pink because of heat.

Well, you got me then...that looks very similar to the beginnings of a burn or some kind of infection. From the pictures it looks like he's on clean newspaper. Could it have been from the previous owner?
