in that case she might not be eating.
they heal very slow but I don't think any snake will starve itself to death.
comfort first then worry about feeding.
My male spider currently weight about 1200g an is back off and wanting to breed, he wont eat again until he drops to between 900 and 1000g. He eats 3 or 4 medium rats a year. It sucks and has added gray hairs to my head but that's just the way he is.

My 2 cents:

You are kind of inconsistent with your story. I think you should leave her alone in an enclosure with ideal conditions for a month. Make sure she has a nice big water dish, large enough to soak in if she wants to. Do not even offer food and no contact except to add water and spot clean. I would keep her on paper towels. I would also shield the enclosure with dark paper, foil, or dark material so she can not see out. Obviously, your "vet friend" does not have much experience with ball pythons or (s)he would have never force fed that snake. Regurge is very bad for a ball python. I had a 3 year old male that went an entire year without eating. Then one day, he snatched the F/T rat right off the tongs and has not stopped yet. They can go a very long time and that snake does not look skinny at all. If she does well throughout this month, I would go buy her a large LIVE rat pup/crawler with its eyes still closed (a big ol fat one though). I would leave that in there over night if she does not take it right away. You can leave it in there for a second day if you want to as it can not hurt the snake at all. If she takes that, I would feed this way weekly for a month then move to a just weaned rat and stay with those once weekly for a couple months before moving to anything different. Yes URI, lol.
I have tried shielding her cage and she gets extremely agitated to the point she has actually attacked the side of the cage.
She was on newspaper for a while due to what I thought was a burn, I just introduced her back to substrate last night.

Just an update:
Been soaking her every few hours for 15-20 minutes at a time.
She has passed a couple times and it is getting softer.
Also she is gaining energy after every soak and behavior is improving :-)

Females can lay slugs (unfertilized eggs) too. I'm thinking that's what the "yellow rocks" were!

Without a pic I can't be 100% certain, but I've seen plenty of yellow rocky looking urates...

Handling a snake that often after regurgitation can be dangerous. You need to leave her alone and give her time. She will come around. She may be acting so funny from being stressed with her being handled so much. Good luck

I realize handling her so much could be a bit dangerous, but it seems she is less stressed while being handled than being in her tank.
Her odd behavior happens mostly in her tank, once she is out she's fine.

That looks like scale rot to me. I would keep her on paper towel in a tub so her belly is dry and clean.

Her body weight looks good, I would not attempt more force feedings - it's just going to put her off food for longer. Best of luck!
