Re: Is This A Baby Pastel Ball Python
She is a pastel, just very dark. With baby pastels, the more pale yellow areas you see the lighter they tend to be. The orange/tan/grey colors are the ones tht tend to brown out the most. That snake has a lot of orange an tan already, so will probably really brown out as an adult. As others said, interesting pattern though.

Re: Is This A Baby Pastel Ball Python
Thank you for all your answers and insite. Glad to have join this community, after doing a lot of research she defiantly has some pastel in her if not all and just not as much bright colors. She has a whiter belly than a normal just like my pinstripe, also green eyes the blemishes and white lips. I'm really learning a lot as a ball python owner. Thanks again and I'm always willing to listen and take advice!

Pastel is dominant so yes that is a pastel, there is no "some".
On that note, I am digging the funky dirty pattern however there is not enough blushing for me.
It will brown out but truthfully the pattern makes up for it.

I'm not sure why, but I'm shown as starting this thread. I originally replied to yaboyyoungd1234567 who started the thread...

Re: Is This A Baby Pastel Ball Python
Looks like a pastel just a little dark, my first pastel actually did the weirdest thing each time he shed he got lighter until he was damn near identical to my old super pastel, just a tiney bit darker.

That's good! I'm hopeful, I am very excited for her first shed! That would be a amazing if that's what happens with this baby!
