That "normal" hatchling is awesome! I also thought it looked a little YB-ish. Any chance either of the "single gene" fathers are hiding something? Or that the mother had some retained sperm? It doesn't really look like the "normal" possible father to me. That adult male is fairly reduced and the hatchling has a wacky pattern, although there are some other similarities.

I would think when playing around with a dinker, you'd want to put only that male to any females you pair him with, to eliminate confusion and give yourself more chances to hit on something.
