Ok, so who on here crochet's?

I am just learning to crochet and I must say that I love it! I find it to be very relaxing and soothing to my nerves. I know I can't be the only one on here that crochets! So ladies, tell me what you are working on!

    I both knit and crochet.

It's the middle of summer in the south, though, so I haven't touched anything bigger than a dishcloth or sock in a while. I've got a couple of blankets and a sweater in progress but they'll be hibernating until fall. Just too hot to be under all that fabric.

Re: Ok, so who on here crochet's?

Ever since my daughter got this really cute hat for her birthday from a friend (that friends mom had crocheted), I have wanted to learn. Just can't seem to find the time. :/

I learned when I was a kid, last thing I made was a cap and some baby wash cloths for my nephew when he was born. I agree, it is very therapeutic.

Re: Ok, so who on here crochet's?

I crotchet, knit and my favorite knitting on a loom. It's so much faster and easier, I can make hats in 30 minutes and a scarf in about a day or two. They also come in a lot of different sizes so you can make blankets a lot faster too. I just need to learn how to put designs into things.

I knit. I have tried to crochet but cannot get it right. I was working on a baby blanket but didn't have time to finish and now can't b/c my right hand is numb. I will finish it before winter.

I also crochet! I'm not working on anything currently. I usually still to pretty simple stuff like scarves, blankets, and cat toys

I used to crochet and knit, and I even taught myself how to tat. But I haven't done any of it in years. Occasionally I see someone working on something, and I think to myself I really need to start doing that again, but I never get around to it. I agree with the therapeutic thing. It's relaxing and you feel so good when you finish a project.
