    Incredible Odds!

I paired a Pastave with a Lesser female. Wanted to produce some more BELs. I was hoping for one. On Thursday, the eggs started pipping, so I moved them to a new egg box with a small bowl of water because I was out of town until last night. Came home, checked the incubator and viola - in a clutch of seven eggs, FOUR BELs! How about those odds?

I took a quick picture before I cleaned up the eggs and put a fresh paper towel in, just got excited and had to have a pic quickly!

Haven't sexed them yet. I usually wait until they shed before sexing them.

Awesome! And is there a way to differentiate a BEL from a pastel BEL? Or do you have to prove it out?

Gotta prove it out, but it is always nice to know there is a possibility of another gene in there.
