Here are the pics... What do you think.....
I was thinking of buying a rubbermaid enclosure for a future ball python but so far i am unsuccessful for finding tubs big enough for a full grown BP. I figure i'll get a big enough one so when it grows up i won't have to get a new tank. between then and now i'll fill up the tank with vines, plants (fake) and hides. But i just can't find a big enough rubbermaid. So then i thought of making a wooden box with a front, sliding door of plexiglass. I would cover the inside with water-based sealer to help with humidity and all that. Do you think this would be a good idea? does anyone know of a place to buy big rubbermaids/sterilites? thanks
P.S.(this is an edit) does anyone have any good idea to heat it?would a human heat pad work or a reptile heat pad?anyideas for lighting?

Well sterilite.com has some good stuff. And yes, a human heat pad can heat a rubbermaid cage. As far as I know anyway. And as for lighting there are many opions. It depends on whether you want the light for heat or for viewing.

My BP Jojo lives in one of those 90QT sterilites. He loves it. It holds humidity really well and is easy to heat.
Thanks,

eh screw walmart. Go to target. They have a nice selection of steralite. I found the exact tubs I was looking for there. Model 1990. Check it out at sterilite.com. And a heating pad works well, just make sure your ambient temp is up high enough.
here is the exact link. 116 qt steralite

The dollar stores have GREAT selections, and they don't usually cost as much than if you bought the container elsewhere. I've seen a couple of the huge ones up to 50 gal. or so, and they are usually around $10-$12.

Making your own thermostat
i'm back and forth every minute about making one or buying a sterilite. I think i'll get the sterilite first(b'c its cheap and replacable) and maybe once my BP develops a little i'll try to make a cage. thnx for all the input

Of all of these that you guys are talkin about, I don't see any that are 3x2 feet (36x24 inches) & isn't that what you are supposed to have for an adult BP!!??
