This is ABSOLUTELY untrue - Anacondas can & do grow quite large in captivity. Please don't be fooled into thinking they won't grow to large proportions simply by being captive bred.Originally Posted by chong_python
Anacondas can be unpredictable snakes with strict husbandry requirements that are usually best left to experienced keepers. If you don't have quite a bit of experience from keeping several other beginner/intermediate level species, anacondas are a poor choice.
