    Anyone else have this problem?

I just typed up a reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaally long update on my rescue bp, only to have the site log me out when I tried to post it!

This isn't the first time this has happened, and I unfortunately don't think it will be the last but

Any of you ever been frustrated by this? And is there any way of retrieving what I typed?

Sometimes using the "back" arrow on your browser will take you back to what you've been working on. Doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.

When you log into the site, right beside where you input your username and password, is a little box you can tick that says "Keep me logged in". If you click on that when you log in, you won't have that problem of being logged out of the site if you linger too long in one place.

I've been asked to log in again after typing up a post (or reply), but after I log in again, it's always posted just fine. It's a bit annoying sometimes to have to keep logging in, but I don't think it's never lost what I've typed.

the only thing that really helps is to make it a habit to copy the text to the clipboard every now and then, and definitively before clicking a button.

i think this forum has some feature in place, it saves your incomplete post every now and then. but it doesnt always work and it doesnt constantly follow what you type.
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.
If you disagree, send me a PM.

The 4 philosophically most important aspects of modern science are: Evolutionary theory, Cosmology, Quantum mechanics, and Einsteins theory of general relativity. Understand these to get a grip of reality.
