    Behavior question

Can BPs be bred to be "calm"? Generally they are calm already but some are shy and jumpy. Has anybody tried to breed that out of them?

I think people breed BP's for the paint job, not for personality.

I did find a retic breeder who pairs his mainlands based on both morph and personality, but that's because he doesn't think producing 15+ foot snakes with a bad attitude is a good idea.

I haven't noticed behavior being passed down. They are all pretty calm and docile, that's the breed for you. I do have a couple snakes that are sketchy, but they have always been that way. 2 sketchy snakes out of 60 aren't terrible odds.
