I lost 40lbs doing low carb, high fat and have had blood work done over the past two years I've been doing it. Blood work is spectacular and my digestive health has vastly improved. Fat is not the enemy.![]()
However, just like anything else, moderation is key. This isn't a free pass to gorge yourself on high fat foods. Calorie intake still matters but it's much easier to feel full on a high fat diet so you do not eat as much.
Edit: Also, it's not just about fatty foods. It's also eating tons of veggies (non starchy). It's not a pure meat and dairy diet.
