Incubating at 89.5F last year I had a clutch pip on day 53. I've cut every clutch since on day 52.
They will be fine

agree, this late stage you should be fine ... if it would have happened much earlier, not so much. Good luck, keep us posted.

Hopefully they will be just fine.
That said... power outages are an unfortunate fact of life in my area. We have above-ground lines so a winter ice storm or summer squall can knock us offline for a few days. While I don't have a whole-house generator, I did pick up one that can handle keeping my food and the snake food cold, and/or the snakes and incubator at appropriate temperatures. When I added up the potential for snakes + food losses - none of which would be covered by insurance - buying one made financial sense.

Here in FL we do have power surges/outages on a weekly basis. I have not had an incubator drop more than a degree over 1-2 hours yet.
That being said I do have a 5000w Honda generator handy that is set to back feed the entire facility should power be lost for any significant period of time. Just test ran the generator yesterday as a monthly "pm". I let it sit for a few years, and when I went to use it last season the carb was all gummed up. Since I got that cleaned up, I run it every month then shut the fuel line off and run the carb dry.
I'm all for saving resources, but this ethanol fuel is the pits!! It has trashed fuel/water separators on my boat every few months, so I just went to a fuel filter, since I have NEVER seen water in the separator bowl.

Even had they only been a few days old, I bet at 75 for a few hours wouldn't have killed them.
Keep in mind these guys didn't evolve with their eggs being laid in a perfectly controlled environment at 90 degrees for 55 days.
They'll be fine - don't sweat it too much.

Ah! What crappy luck Ricky as others have said, don't stress too much!!
Wishing you and the babes all the best. It'll be okay

i guess they will be just fine. i mean, what cold does is that it slows down everything, all the metabolism, but it only causes damage when it gets too cold and some parts shut down completely. everything slows down, and some functions slow down more than others.
a hot spike is much more dangerous and damaging, because some molecules denaturate. this really screws with metabolism and development because specific enzymes that serve specific functions get hit.
in nature, the places where BPs put their eggs have surprisingly constant temperatures. its termite mounds and rhodent burrows, and the climate is very constantly warm and humid around the year, and underground its even more constant.
but i dont see how colder temperatures (nowhere near freezing cold, just colder) for just a limited amount of time could cause any real damage. also in nature, that could happen when a storm hits or something.
by the way, my last power outage was, i dont remember correctly, something like 8 years ago and lasted for 4 hours. in Germany, somehow only the really big high voltage long distance power lines are in the open, everything else is underground.
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it. If you disagree, send me a PM.
The 4 philosophically most important aspects of modern science are: Evolutionary theory, Cosmology, Quantum mechanics, and Einsteins theory of general relativity. Understand these to get a grip of reality.

Had a fire extinguisher not been handy I would have lost my 1969 Mustang convertible thanks to ethanol. The fuel lines have since all been replaced... along with almost everything else that was in the engine compartment at the time.
This time of year I would worry more about the incubator and my BRB's getting too hot vs too cool if we lose power.
