    YB female bleeding

I took my yb female out to weight her, and put her back again in her tub, that's when she started to spit blood every time she was flickering her tongue. Its a healthy snake, eating regularly, growing (900grms), active. Doesnt seem sick. The blood is pure red, clean. So my guess its from some kind of trauma in the mouth. Last time she ate was a week ago. Shes not bleeding anymore but I have nerver seen something like this.

Woah, that is strange. That is fresh blood, so it must be an open injury of some sort. Hope all is okay, please keep us updated with your finds.

    Re: YB female bleeding

I just checked on her. Gently open her mouth abd it was perfect, clean, pink, but in the inside upper lip theres a small spot of hard blood, so my guess is that she pinch herself with the lower jaw.

    Im glad its nothing!
