    What's this in the water?

I recently got my first ball python, a mojave. This morning I woke up and looked in the water and saw this . What could it be? Looked almost blood red, no smell. Kind of concerning,

You dish looks copper colour. Snake could have just pisses in the water and that with the color of the dish came out looking like that.

When I first saw the pic it didn't look like anything was wrong from just looking at it. I wouldn't have even known it should be a different color if you didn't mention it.

This is what it looked like changed, and when I poured it out it was a diluted rustish color.

Was that driftwood in the water at all? Sometimes the tannins will leach out. People who use driftwood in aquariums usually soak it in a bucket of water for a few days before putting it into the tank, so it doesn't discolor the water.

I also moved it out to give him more room, and draped the bamboo leaves over the driftwood to give him a little canopy hide. More room, but still hiding spots.
