    feeding question...

i just fed last night (monday). after eating, she shed too! I normally feed with 4 days between, so she should eat again friday. However, i am leaving thursday morning and will not be home again until tuesday afternoon. Should i try feeding her wednesday night? or wit until Tuesday when i return? She is a great eater and has been eating wonderfully for me….????

    feeding question...

You could try to feed a small meal to see if she would eat. Typically most people feed on a 5-7 day cycle with juvenile snakes. A very young snake such as less than 6 months gets fed every 5 days at my house. I will even do this for a year if they are eating well. If your snake doesn't eat Wednesday it will be fine until you get back.
It's best if you could have someone check on it while your gone. What happens when or if it poops? It will be in a dirty cage until you return. Check with your local vet if you don't have a friend that can check on it. Our vet will board animals cheaper than a boarding facility.

I would wait until you return.

Just make sure it has a full water bowl and you mist well if needed and it will be fine. If your snake likes having movements in the water bowl I would add a second just in case.

thanks. I'm going to put a second bowl in the tank and have someone check in on her. I'm sure she will be fine. probably happier that her crazy owner isn't taking her out all the time!!!
