Advice needed
Do you guys think it is a bad ideA to divide a tank in halve but the snake can still go on either side easily if he wants to

How would you do that, and what is the point of it? If the snake has to climb then I would say no.

If the snake can be on either side, then what's the point? :? If you were splitting a tank to hold two baby BPs in separate enclosures, sure, what would your purpose be for what you describe? I'm just trying to figure out the practical applications for it.

Re: Advice needed
To make him feel more secure, less of open space on either side, and he can climb, which he normally does or he can go through a hole at bottom of divider which he also does

Re: Advice needed
Well at first he wasn't eating and he seem scared in his tank, so I did that and he ate and still continues to eat but he wouldn't eat when it was open

I have never heard of it being done, but as long as the setup is working and he seems okay with it then I guess it isn't detrimental. I personally would look to find out what his issue is with the tank itself. How big is he and how big is the tank?

Re: Advice needed
Well when I got him as a hatchling I had him in a small tank and about 6 months of me having him I cracked his tank and all I had left to put him in was a 40 gal(I know it's huge for a bp) but he doesn't mind claiming over it he does day and night, some times he just chills at the top dividing it was the only thing I could do to make him more secure but he us about a year old now and still eating

Yeah, so he probably won't feel very secure in a tank of that size. Why not partition it off fully and then take the partition out when he is ready for a 40 gallon? He should preferably be chilling in one of the hides, not roaming about all day. Mine was doing the same until I got him hides he felt secure in. Now I hardly see him.

Re: Advice needed
Idk he seems to be alright with it right now, and he does prefer one of his hides during the day but he comes out and roams around in the evening but not in the morning, so I might just leave it how it is now
