Here is a pic I snapped today- it is of the end section of my BP near the end of his tail... You can see the wrinkles and such.. Is this dehydration? He has not missed a meal in a long time and a few times his prey got dunked, I see him drink once in a while, and he is growing very well and just shed perfectly - humidity is great! Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

EDIT: For more pics from the same day, even a close up of the eyes (no dents) click here- DIALUP WARNING!

Looks normal to me. I've seen some picures of true dehydration and it doesn't look like that. It's funny b/c I was looking at Sophie yesterday and noticed the same thing and thought exactly would you do, but I'm pretty sure those are just natural wrinkles (I even looked it up in the BP Manual to compare)...however, I'm far from being an expert on the subject....

BP skin will be somewhat loose unless they're powerfed. That looks like a healthy bp to me.

A snake would have to be blatantly neglected (or really sick) to get visibly dehydrated. And I seriously doubt you've ever neglected your snake.

I have noticed that both my BP's skin is loose right after a shed untill they grow into it. Looks like a very healthy and beautiful snake to me.
Thanks,

Ozzy's looks like that and the vet said it was normal. I think it is just how there skin does when the turn kinda like we get folds in our skins.
When it's dehydration the lines run along the body and the skin dulls and looks dry.
Great picture in the Ball Python manual of dehydration and just stop by my Petco they have one in there I have been on them about they just got in that is on it's way to a bad dehydration.
Jonah your bp looks fine
