strange snake behavior after an escape and feed

alright. so about three days ago now, i woke up to find that my ball python had escaped from her cage during the night, and had disappeared. me and my girlfriend didnt stress too hard over it, because she has escaped before and has always been found. but after about 24 hours, i began to worry. the next day, we got desperate and decided to get a mouse for her and put it in her cage to try to entice her out of hiding. it worked! she came out from behind the tv stand (which we had checked about a hundred times...) and i picked her up and put her in her cage. five seconds later, my snake is giving the mouse a nice big hug, and its business as usual. i noticed when she was finishing the mouse, she actually bit her own body in the process. i dont think she injured herself but i have not checked... i decided to leave her alone for a few days due to the stress of being out and about having just eaten. i usually wait about a day or two to handle after feeding. anyways, i just got home from work and went to check on her. usually she is not interested at all in people watching her tank, but when she saw me, she came out to look at me. when she did, i noticed her head was very shaky. i noticed it some last night too... but didnt think much of it because i figured she was just cold. what does this shaking mean? she is definitely not still cold. also, she has not finished her shed and has always had a lot of difficulty shedding. im just worried about my lucy. any advice?

I've had escaped python situations before. Both times they hid away for a week and a half. It worried me sick! Luckily, both were recovered without ill effect. I'm not experienced enough to be able to guess why she's shaking. Is there anything potentially toxic she might have encountered? In my opinion, it would be prudent to check in with your vet. And I'd have a good look at that wound.

At this point, the shedding issues are secondary...but how is your humidity? Temps? What kind of enclosure is she in?
