    Re: Hets from new breeders

Now the extras Id want to sell since I don't need that many. Would you personally buy from a breeder that is new but is a frequent member on here? Pictures of pairings provided and genetic guarantees of course. I figure I'd need to price mine lower than well known breeders but I'd rather not sell them as normals.
I think you'd definitely have better luck here where folks "know" you than advertising on a site where you're not known. But I don't think it's impossible for first-time breeders to sell hets. Price them reasonably and make sure you document all the steps along the way, with pictures of the pairings and the mom on eggs, etc. While it's certainly possible for folks to intentionally fake such pictures in order to sell fake hets, very few actually do. A guy lying about fake hets is usually doing so on the spur of the moment or with animals they just picked up. They're unlikely to have recessive snakes that they can actually take pictures of in the mating process. SO...if you can show all that, you help reduce the risk-factor for folks that don't know you.
