    I used a hard shell cooler (like you would take camping or out for a picnic) and I put a piece of heat tape on the bottom. Then I layered the bottom with water bottles, put a shelf on the bottom (I used a piece of egg crate), then in go the eggs. Depending on where you get your heat tape, you can get it pre-wired. I know Reptile Basics will pre-wire it for you if you make a comment for them to do so (just on your order comments or give them a call after you've ordered). It's really simple. I'm not very handy and mine worked well for me.
