Can a retic (dwarf or sd) be housed in a rack with a bp?

i only have a bp in a pvc enclosure. thinking of moving him to a rack. i dont really want another bp but i do want a smaller retic. would it be frowned upon to keep them in say a cserpents cb70 rack?

Yes, they can share a rack when the retic is small. (The CB70 is too small for an adult though)
No, they cannot share the same tub.

Retics prefer it on the cooler side usually. As long as the cool end is around 75 and they have a peak basking spot around 92 with am ambient around 78-80 you'll be fine. A pure SD male adult can be housed in a CB70 it's entire life.. they are the length of a corn snake and the girth. But this is the ONLY one to consider keeping more than a year in it.

Different temps re possible in racks.
There is nothing requiring a single thermostat for an entire rack.

EDIT: My 1st concern would be that the new snake undergoes a quarantine period prior to being introduced to the rack.

only reason im considering moving the bp to a rack is bc he doesnt eat very often in the pvc enclosure. i prefer the pvc enclosures to a rack. i wpuld have thought the pvc is better. i just have a hard time feeding him. seems like a pvc would be the way to go for the retic too
