    Need opinions on setup/Humidity problems.

Hi! I'm sorry if this will appear to be a little long but I just want to make sure I describe my setup right. I'll also attach a couple pictures too.

I'm going to get my first Ball Python once I'm confident that I have the temps and humidity correct. I have a 20 gallon long reptile tank and covered 3 sides with black construction paper and am using aspen bedding (although I know it's not the best for humidity). I have a thermometer on the outside of the tank with a probe placed under the bedding on the cool side which sits around 80-82F. On the hot side I have an Exo-Terra thermometer/hygrometer with the probe under the hide on the hot side and sits in the tank. The hot side fluctuates between 89-91F. I also have a large water dish for it to soak in and 2 identical hides on either side. For heating I have the Zoo-Med UTH which is plugged into a hydrofarm thermostat and set to 91F. On the cool side I have a 100W infrared bulb plugged into the dome light. I'm also going to get some vines to place around the hides/front of the tank to provide cover. So far my temperatures are good but I'm having trouble getting my humidity up. The humidity is currently at 26%. I live in Canada if that makes a difference. So far I've tried putting a damp towel over the right side of the lid which didn't help any. I then tried setting aluminum foil all on the top which raised it 1-2% and I put the towel under it. I then misted the cage with warm water which brought it up to 26% although I don't want to wet the aspen too much as I don't want mold to start growing. I'm not sure what to do next. I'm considering switching the aspen bedding out for Coconut Fiber or getting Sphagnum moss although I could only find a bag of Sphagnum Peat Moss at a hardware store but wasn't sure of it. Anyways I really just need some opinions on my setup and some help with getting my humidity up to 50-60%. Thanks in advance!

Put the water dish over or near the UTH
