I actually find them to be very pretty, but they get fairly large for someone like myself... who lives in an apartment. My partner doesn't want my snakes to take up too much space either, understandably. Plus for any snake over 6 ft. where I live, a permit is required. (Not to mention they are crazy popular, and any morphs are quite expensive).
Dumerils might not get as large though, from what I've read - but again, I don't know a tonne about them.

a male dumerils will get about 5.5-6 feet. They are pretty much the same as RTBs as far as care, just a more unique pattern. I also live in an apartment and will need a permit but i just love boas too much hahah
