In this case, where there has been years of the same pair put together yielding nothing, and then put the female with a different male and you get eggs, then I'd begin to wonder if the het axanthic male is sterile (or a female? have you seen locks or hemipenes on this guy?).
In the OP's case, I'd say more patience is needed. They don't always go when you want them to. I haven't even done any breeding yet, but I've learned this from seeing similar posts on the forum year after year after year.
