Well, see, that's the genius of it. It changes -- presto! -- from a humid hide to a warm hide simply by dumping the water out. That does assume there's another water dish present, of course. And yes, that's all you have to do to make the hide, except for possibly cutting it down to size and definitely cutting an access hole in it somewhere.
