I have a beautiful 1 1/2 year old (Sept 12) Albino Spider Ball Female.
She eats F/T no problem (I have never fed her live) and is now on Medium Rats (120G roughly). She is about 900G herself. I have posted in the past that she strikes at the rats sometimes, but most of the time either gently takes them off the tongs, or being shy, when I put them down and walk away, she eats happily.
I used to offer every 7 days, but lately, she doesn't seem to want eat every feeding.
She is still gaining weight and sheds are good. No other signs of health issues, and when she eats, she gobbles the rats down.
If I don't feed for 10-14 days, she will start looking for food. Slithering around at dusk looking for something good. She almost always eats these times. However, when she is just chilling/resting, she only eats sometimes.
My question is as follows:
At this age and weight can I offer every 10-14 days instead? I would like to try that and see if she eats more readily.
I don't want her getting used to refusing meals. I also don't want her to be hungry or malnourished.
Thank you for any input.
