At any rate, I wish you the best of luck with this clutch! I'm still waiting on ovulations over here :/
Oh. That's a bummer. I will not be cutting. Those little suckers are coming out on their own! Lol. I'm too scared to mess something up! I'd be too scared just to actually cut them! Lol. What if I got a baby? Nope. No cutting here.

I was scared too...then I just did it. I cut on day 52 and I had to wait until day 56 for pips. I was SOOOOOOO stressed out after I cut them because I was worried they would dry out. I think if they didn't pip when they did, I would have gotten an ulcer from all the stress. So this time around I'm just letting them pip on their own to relieve that stress. It's far better to just be impatient than stress.

I cut my first clutch also, trust me it's harder to cut one of the babies than you think. I cut on day 52 and the wait killed me for pippers on day 56, i also had to add water to a few about 3 days after, plus making sure no bacteria got in... Too much stress... Will be letting them pip for sure this year

    Re: OMG. They're here!!!

Yesterday was day 32 for my eggs. If I am not mistaken in what I'm seeing (which I very well could be, I've never done this before), 3/6 of my eggs are showing what appears to be spider pattern. If you look just below watermark in the pictures, you can see what I'm talking about. Anyhow, we are just excited to see what's in these eggs! :-)
