    To the original questions from the OP:

    Never. I never feel like a "freak" for liking what I like. I love that I love snakes.
    I also don't believe there's any one way to be "male" or "female" or otherwise. Gender roles and gender in general are completely a cultural and societal creation (when we are talking in separation of "sex roles" for mating, like in the animal kingdom). So no. I don't feel like a freak - perhaps weird, but that's not because of the snakes!


    As one of my favourite actors from a pretty good movie put it:

    "Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want" (Heath Ledger, 10 Things I Hate About You).
